Welcome to the free Dental Clinic at the Rose Garden Center for Hope and Healing! Do you have a toothache? Gum infection? Want a brighter smile? "Be not afraid!" Just call us for help. Translation services are available.
Every appointment starts with a health screening to assess any language concerns, establish current wellness, address ongoing infections, and allay anxiety. Dental services include:
Oral care is an urgent unmet need among low-income men and women and a key component of total health. Since our launch in 2017, several hundred men and women have received professional oral care here without charge. We do not offer pediatric services.
We launched on April 22, 2017, with three fully equipped rooms, ample supplies on hand, and commitments from three teams of dental volunteers. More dentists, hygienists, and assistants have since served when they can, but the waiting list is long and much more help is needed!
Active and retired dental professionals are urged to volunteer a few hours of your time and skill, even once a year, entirely at your convenience. Call or email to discuss details.
We are grateful to the donors large and small who have contributed funds, equipment, supplies, labor, and skills to launch and continue our dental clinic. In particular, generous early grants from the R.C. Durr Foundation and Delta Dental of Kentucky were foundational.
